फरवरी 2020 में मध्यप्रदेश में ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया की बगावत के चलते तत्कालीन कमलनाथ सरकार पर आए सियासी संकट के दौरान भी मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस के विधायकों की जयपुर में बाड़ाबंदी की गई थी। इन विधायकों को भी होटल ब्यूना विस्ता और शिव विलास में शिफ्ट किया गया था। तकरीबन 15 दिनों तक मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस के विधायक जयपुर में ही रुके थे। हालांकि कमलनाथ सदन में बहुमत साबित नहीं कर पाए और सरकार गिर गई थी।
गुजरात कांग्रेस के विधायकों बाड़ाबंदी
वहीं फरवरी 2020 में राज्यसभा चुनाव के चलते गुजरात कांग्रेस के विधायकों को भी जयपुर के शिव विलास रिसोर्ट में शिफ्ट किया गया था, यहां गुजरात के आधे विधायकों को शिव विलास तो आधे विधायकों को ग्रीन टी हाउस में ठहराया गया था। हालांकि इस दौरान गुजरात के विधायकों ने जयपुर के ऐतिहासिक इमारतों का भ्रमण भी किया था।

प्रदेश के कांग्रेस विधायकों और समर्थित विधायकों की भी जयपुर में ही 2 बार बाड़ाबंदी हुई थी। जून 2020 में 30 सीटों पर हुए राज्यसभा चुनाव में खरीद-फरोख्त की आशंका के चलते कांग्रेस के विधायकों की जयपुर में शिव विलास और और एक अन्य लग्जरी रिसोर्ट में बाड़ाबंदी की गई थी। इस बाड़ाबंदी में पार्टी के तत्कालीन प्रदेश प्रभारी अविनाश पांडे, कांग्रेस मीडिया विभाग के प्रमुख रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला सहित कई अन्य नेता भी शामिल थे।

अब असम के नेताओं की बाड़ाबंदी
अब असम कांग्रेस गठबंधन के प्रत्याशियों की बाड़ाबंदी भी जयपुर के होटल फेयरमाउंट में की गई है। असम में कांग्रेस गठबंधन के प्रत्याशियों की खरीद-फरोख्त ना हो इससे बचने के लिए कांग्रेस ने यहां बाड़ाबंदी का दांव खेला है।
2005 से शुरू हुई थी जयपुर में बाड़ाबंदी
