मरीजों के बढ़ने की वजह डेल्टा
डब्ल्यूएचओ ने अपनी साप्ताहिक रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि नए मामले सबसे ज्यादा ब्राजील, भारत, इंडोनेशिया और ब्रिटेन में बढ़े हैं। मरीजों के बढ़ने का कारण डेल्टा वैरिएंट है। यह वैरिएंट अब तक 111 देशों में फैल चुका है। प्रेट्र के अनुसार संयुक्त राष्ट्र की एजेंसी ने आशंका जताई है कि डेल्टा वैरिएंट के पूरी दुनिया में प्रभावी होने की आशंका है। चेतावनी दी गई है कि डेल्टा वैरिएंट का प्रभाव उन लोगों पर सबसे ज्यादा होगा, जिनके द्वारा वैक्सीन नहीं लगवाई गई है।

- इंडोनेशिया : एपी के अनुसार यह देश एशिया का सबसे बड़ा कोरोना का हॉटस्पाट बन रहा है। यहां एक दिन में 54 हजार से ज्यादा नए मामले आए। यह देश वर्तमान में हर रोज आने वाले मामलों में भारत से भी आगे निकल गया है।
- रूस : रायटर के मुताबिक कोरोना संक्रमण की शुरुआत से लेकर अब तक यहां एक दिन में पहली बार सबसे ज्यादा 786 लोगों की मौत हुई है।
