बीकानेर में दूषित जल आपूर्ति के प्रकरण में एसीई पहुंचे मौके पर फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट से की लोगों की मौजूदगी में पेयजल के सैम्पल की जांच
बीकानेर@जागरूक जनता। जलदाय विभाग के अधिकारियों द्वारा प्रदेश में लोगों को स्वच्छ पेयजल आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लोगों की मौजूदगी में ‘फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट’ के माध्यम से गुणवत्ता जांच की पहल का सकारात्मक असर देखने को मिल रहा है। कई स्थानों पर विभाग के अभियंताओं द्वारा ‘फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट’ का प्रयोग करते हुए मौके पर गुणवत्ता जांच की कार्यवाही की जा रही है। ऐसा ही एक वाकया शुक्रवार को दोपहर में बीकानेर शहर के सुभाषपुरा क्षेत्र में देखने को मिला, जब जलदाय विभाग के कार्यालय में जन प्रतिनिधियों और निवासियों की ओर से दूषित पानी की शिकायत प्राप्त होने के पर जलदाय विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य अभियंता (एसीई) श्री अजय शर्मा,अधिशाषी अभियंता श्री राजीव दत्ता, सहायक अभियंता श्री दिलीप तंवर और अपनी टीम के साथ खुद मौके पर पहुंच गए। एसीई श्री शर्मा ने अपनी गाड़ी से ‘फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट’ निकाली और सभी लोगों की मौजूदगी में पेयजल का नमूना लेकर जांच की। इस पेयजल सैम्पल जांच में पीएच, टीडीएस एवं क्लोरीन की मात्रा निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप पाई गई। इस कार्यवाही से मौके पर मौजूद लोगों पूरी तरह संतुष्ट हो गए और उन्होंने जलदाय विभाग द्वारा ‘फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट’ से सार्वजनिक तौर पर त्वरित जांच की इस नई पहल की सराहना की। उल्लेखनीय है कि जलदाय मंत्री डॉ. बी.डी कल्ला ने विभागीय समीक्षा बैठकों में सभी फील्ड अधिकारियों को प्रदेश के सभी शहरी एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पेयजल सप्लाई तथा निर्माण कार्यों में गुणवत्ता से किसी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं करने पर जोर देते रहे है। विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (एसीएस) श्री सुधांश पंत ने भी गत दिनों एक समीक्षा बैठक में सभी अधिकारियों को फील्ड विजिट के दौरान अपनी गाड़ी में सदैव टेस्टिंग किट रखने और पेयजल गुणवत्ता जांच को प्रमुखता देने के निर्देश दिए थे। एसीएस ने जलदाय विभाग में जेईएन से ऊपर के सभी अधिकारियों को पर्याप्त संख्या में ‘फील्ड टेस्टिंग किट’ उपलब्ध कराने के लिए चीफ केमिस्ट को निर्देशित किया था।
