बीकानेर@जागरूक जनता। सूचना एवं जनसम्पर्क विभाग के पूर्व सहायक निदेशक श्री फरीद खान का मंगलवार को श्रीगंगानगर में निधन हो गया। श्री फरीद खान 78 वर्ष के थे। कोरोना पाॅजिटिव रिपोर्ट होने के बाद श्रीगंगानगर के जिला अस्पताल में उनका इलाज चल रहा था, जहां मंगलवार प्रातः लगभग 11.30 बजे उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली। श्री फरीद खान जून 1990 से जून 1992 तक बीकानेर में सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क अधिकारी के पद पर कार्यरत रहे। श्री खान ने सहायक जनसंपर्क अधिकारी के तौर पर सेवाएं शुरू की। उनका अधिकतम पदस्थापन श्रीगंगानगर रहा। सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद वह पत्रकारिता करते रहे। श्री फरीद खान सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क कार्यालय में पदस्थापित वरिष्ठ सहायक फिरोज खान के बड़े भाई थे।
श्री फरीद खान के निधन पर सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क कार्यालय में दो मिनट का मौन रखकर दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति की कामना की गई। इस दौरान सहायक निदेशक हरि शंकर आचार्य, राजेन्द्र भार्गव, विजेन्द्र सिंह, प्रियांशु आचार्य, परमनाथ सिद्ध आदि मौजूद रहे। वहीं श्री फरीद खान के निधन पर विभाग के पूर्व संयुक्त निदेशक मनोहर चावला, दिनेश चंद्र सक्सेना, पूर्व सहायक निदेशक मोहम्मद सलीम, अमर सिंह चौहान, विकास हर्ष, जनसंपर्क अधिकारी शरद केवलिया और भाग्यश्री गोदारा ने भी शोक व्यक्त किया है।
