पिलानी। @ jagruk janta राजस्थान के प्रतिष्ठित आवासीय विद्यालय बिरला बालिका विद्यापीठ पिलानी की डीन एकेडेमिक्स श्रीमती अचला वर्मा का शिक्षा मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार 2021 के लिए चयन हुआ है | इस वर्ष पूरे देश से 44 शिक्षकों का चयन राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार के लिए हुआ है | पुरस्कार समारोह 5 सितम्बर 2021 को शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित होगा | राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार महामहिम राष्ट्रपति द्वारा प्रदान किया जाता है | श्रीमति अचला वर्मा वर्ष 1997 से बिरला बालिका विद्यापीठ में गणित की अध्यापिका के रूप में कार्य कर रही हैं | वर्तमान में श्रीमती वर्मा पीजीटी गणित एवं डीन एकेडेमिक्स के पद पर कार्यरत हैं | उन्हें अपने नियमित कक्षा शिक्षण में प्रौद्योगिकी को एकीकृत करने के लिए पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया है, उन्होंने छात्राओं को परियोजनाओं और प्रस्तुतियों जैसे अनुसंधान आधारित काम के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया, जो शिक्षण में सहायक उपकरण के रूप में काम करता है। उन्होंने गणित के वास्तविक जीवन के अनुप्रयोगों एवं गतिविधि आधारित शिक्षण से गणित सीखने को रुचिकर बनाना सुनिश्चित किया। वह कला एकीकरण और गणित पर गतिविधियों का संचालन करने, अंतःविषय परियोजनाओं की योजना बनाने और उन्हें क्रियान्वित करने में गहरी रुचि लेती हैं | कोविडकाल के दौरान डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर ऑनलाइन पैनल क्विज आयोजित की गयीं जिसमें मुफ्त ऐप और टूल्स का इस्तेमाल किया गया।
अपने 24 वर्ष के कार्यकाल में उन्होंने विद्यालय में विभिन्न कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन किया है जिनमें प्रमुख हैं – एन सी सी केयरटेकर, ऐकडेमिक कोऑर्डिनेटर, सी सी ई कोऑर्डिनेटर, नैबेट कोऑर्डिनेटर, आई सी टी लीड टीचर, आई पी एस सी रिप्रेजेन्टेटिव तथा डीन एकेडेमिक्स | वे अपनी सफलता के कारक के रूप में विद्यालय के सकारात्मक वातावरण एवं स्वयं को तराशने के अवसर प्रदान करने की परंपरा को स्थान देती हैं | श्रीमती वर्मा से पूर्व भी विद्यालय की वर्तमान प्राचार्या डॉ. एम कस्तूरि को 2012 में तथा उनकी पूर्ववर्ती प्राचार्या श्रीमती वी जी पट्टाम्मल को 2004 में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जा चूका है | अचला वर्मा ने अपनी इस सफलता का श्रेय विद्यालय के ट्रस्टी श्री एस के बिरलाजी, श्रीमती सुमंगला जी बिरला, बिरला शिक्षण संसथान के निदेशक मेजर जनरल एस एस नायर, एवीएसएम तथा विद्यालय की प्राचार्या डॉ. श्रीमति एम कस्तूरि को दिया।
