जयपुर। राजस्थान सरकार ने सोमवार देर रात 3 भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (आईएएस), 2 भारतीय पुलिस सेवा(आईपीएस) और 336 राजस्थान प्रशासनिक सेवा (आरएएस) के अफसरों के ट्रांसफर कर दिए। तबादलों में राज्य के गृह सचिव और जयपुर पुलिस कमिश्नर को बदल दिया गया है।
सरकार ने राहुल गांधी की भारत जोड़ो यात्रा के दौरान सुरक्षा के लिहाज से प्रभारी अधिकारी रहे बीजू जॉर्ज जोसफ को जयपुर का नया पुलिस कमिश्नर बनाया है।मौजूदा पुलिस कमिश्नर आनंद कुमार श्रीवास्तव अब एडीजी लॉ एंड ऑर्डर होंगे।
वहीं पूर्व में गृह सचिव रह चुके भानू प्रकाश एटूरू को फिर यही जिम्मेदारी दी है। इस पद पर वी. सरवण कुमार को 3 साल से ज्यादा हो गए थे। कुमार को आयुक्त विभागीय जांच में लगाया गया है। बता दें तीन साल से अधिक समय से एक ही पद पर लगे अफसरों को हटाने के चुनाव आयोग के निर्देश थे।
2018 से जयपुर कमिश्नर के पद पर थे श्रीवास्तव
आईपीएस आनंद श्रीवास्तव दिसंबर 2018 से जयपुर कमिश्नर के पद पर थे। श्रीवास्तव पहले कमिश्नर हैं, जो साल 2011 के बाद इतने लंबे समय तक एक ही पद पर बने रहे। बताया जा रहा है कि सरकार ने खास तौर पर उन्हें यह जिम्मेदारी दी है। इससे प्रदेश में चुनाव शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से हो सके। वह डीजी कानून-व्यवस्था राजीव शर्मा के अधीन काम करेंगे।
5 माह तक बीजू जॉर्ज के पास रह चुका कमिश्नर का चार्ज
साल 1995 बैच के आईपीएस बीजू जॉर्ज जोसफ जुलाई 2020 से पीएचक्यू में एडीजी विजिलेंस लगे हैं। वह 2011 से 2013 तक कमिश्नरेट में एडिशनल कमिश्नर रहे हैं। मार्च 2013 में 5 महीने तक कमिश्नर का चार्ज उनके पास रहा था। जोसफ जयपुर डीसीपी ईस्ट और एडिशनल कमिश्नर भी रह चुके हैं। उन्होंने भरतपुर रेंज में आईजी रहने के दौरान मेवात क्षेत्र के अपराधों पर भी काफी हद तक काबू पाया। जोसफ जोधपुर कमिश्नर भी रहे हैं।
जोसफ ने विजिलेंस में रहने के दौरान कई पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई भी की है। जयपुर में हो रहे पुलिस के काम से भी काफी वाकिफ है। जानकार बताते हैं कि बीजू के पास जयपुर पुलिस को लेकर कई फीडबैक हैं। इसका फायदा उन्हें कमिश्नरेट को चलाने में मिलेगा। बीजू 2012 पुलिस मैडल और 2021 में राष्ट्रपति मैडल से सम्मानित हैं।
