जूही चावला (Juhi Chawla) की 5G याचिका को खारिज करते हुए दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि पब्लिसिटी के लिए याचिका दायर की गई. इसी वजह से लिंक सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर किया गया. कोर्ट ने कहा याचिकाकर्ता (जूही चावला) को खुद नहीं पता कि उनकी याचिका तथ्यों पर आधारित नहीं होकर, पूरी तरह से कानूनी सलाह पर आधारित थी. न्यायमूर्ति जीआर मिधा की एकल पीठ ने आदेश में कहा कि, ये परेशान करने वाले आरोप लगाए गए थे.
दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने जूही चावला की याचिका को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि याचिकाकर्ता ने कानूनी प्रक्रिया का गलत इस्तेमाल किया और इस वजह से उन पर ₹20 लाख का जुर्माना लगाया. कोर्ट ने इसके साथ ही जूही चावला के वकील को यह भी निर्देश दिया है कि वह इस मामले में नियमों के साथ से जो कोर्ट फीस बनती है वह भी कोर्ट में जमा करें क्योंकि मुकदमा दायर करते हुए जो कोर्ट फीस जमा की गई थी वह नियमों के हिसाब से काफी कम थी.
5G के खिलाफ क्या थी जूही की याचिका
जूही चावला, वीरेश मलिक और टीना वचानी ने याचिका दायर कर कहा था कि यदि दूरसंचार उद्योग की 5जी संबंधी योजनाएं पूरी होती हैं तो पृथ्वी पर कोई भी व्यक्ति, कोई जानवर, कोई पक्षी, कोई कीट और कोई भी पौधा इसके प्रतिकूल प्रभाव से नहीं बच सकेगा. याचिका में प्राधिकारियां को यह प्रमाणित करने का निर्देश देने का अनुरोध किया गया था कि 5जी टेक्नोलॉजी किस तरह से मानव जाति, पुरुषों, महिलाओं, वयस्कों, बच्चों, शिशुओं, जानवरों और हर प्रकार के जीवों, वनस्पतियों के लिए सुरक्षित नहीं है.
