जयपुर। राज्यपाल कलराज मिश्र ने प्रदेश के विश्वविद्यालयों को ज्ञान के देश के सर्वोत्तम केंद्र रूप में विकसित करने का आह्वान किया है। उन्होंने कहा विश्वविद्यालयों को रोजगारोन्मुखी नवीन पाठ्यक्रमों को प्रारम्भ करने के साथ ही विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए कार्य करे।
मिश्र शनिवार को कोटा विश्वविद्यालय, कोटा के ऑनलाइन दीक्षांत समारोह में सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने देश की नई शिक्षा नीति की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि इसके तहत प्रदेश के विश्वविद्यालय आधुनिक विकास, क्षमता, मांग और उत्पादन के मध्य सन्तुलन साधते हुए देश के नवनिर्माण में अपना योगदान दें। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालयों में नैतिक मूल्यों की शिक्षा प्रदान करने के साथ ही आत्मनिर्भर भारत की सोच के साथ कार्य करने पर जोर दिया।
राज्यपाल ने कोटा विश्वविद्यालय को हाड़ौती क्षेत्र की स्थानीय आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप वहां रोजगार सृजन से सम्बंधित पाठ्यक्रम प्रारम्भ करने और स्थानीय कला-संस्कृति के संरक्षण हेतु शोध-अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय विद्यार्थियों को उत्कृष्ट शिक्षा प्रदान करने के साथ ही ज्ञान के आधुनिक तरीकों से निरन्तर जोड़े रखने का कार्य करे।
मिश्र ने समारोह में सुभाष चन्द्र बोस का स्मरण करते हुए कहा कि देश के आजादी आंदोलन में ही नहीं शिक्षा प्रसार और महिलाओं को आगे बढ़ाने में भी उनका महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है। उन्होंने महिला शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के साथ ही उन्हें हर क्षेत्र में अग्रणी करने के लिए मिलकर प्रयास करने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा एक पीढ़ी से दूसरी पीढ़ी को ज्ञान हस्तांतरण की सर्वोत्तम प्रक्रिया है। इसलिए सभी विश्वविद्यालय गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा के जरिये सर्वांगीण विकास पर विशेष ध्यान दें।
इससे पहले राज्यपाल ने विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न संकायों के विद्यार्थियों को पदक, विद्यावाचस्पति, स्नातकोत्तर और स्नातक की उपाधियां प्रदान की। उन्होंने संविधान उद्देशिका और मूल कर्तव्यों का भी वाचन करवाया।
इस अवसर पर तेजपुर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. वी.के. जैन ने अपने दीक्षान्त उद्धबोधन में स्थानीय संसाधनों के वैश्विक उपयोग पर शिक्षा क्षेत्र में कार्य करने पर जोर दिया। कोटा विश्वविद्यालय की कुलपति नीलिमा सिंह ने विश्वविद्यालय का प्रगति प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया।
