हिंदू धर्म में शक्ति की देवी मां दुर्गा की उपासना का पर्व नवरात्रि 13 अप्रैल से आरंभ होने जा रहा है। हिंदू पंचांग में चैत्र मास को हिंदू नववर्ष का प्रथम मास माना जाता है। साल में कुल 4 नवरात्रि होती हैं, जिनमें दो क्रमश: चैत्र नवरात्रि व शारदीय नवरात्रि, जबकि दो गुप्त नवरात्रि हैं।
वहीं हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, 13 अप्रैल 2021 को नवरात्रि के प्रथम दिन pratipada के साथ ही हिंदू नववर्ष 2078 Hindu new year की शुरुआत भी होगी। वहीं नवरात्रि में नौ दिनों तक मां दुर्गा के 9 अलग-अलग स्वरूप की उपासना की जाती है।
इसमें देवी मां के क्रमश: शैलपुत्री माता, ब्रह्मचारिणी, चंद्रघंटा, कूष्माण्डा, स्कंदमाता, कात्यायनी, कालरात्रि, महागौरी और मां सिद्धिदात्री स्वरूप की पूजा की जाती है। वहीं पंचांग के अनुसार इस बार कोई तिथि क्षय नहीं होगी। नवरात्रि के पहले दिन मां दुर्गा Goddess Durga की पूजा के लिए घटस्थापना भी की जाती है।
नवरात्रि के पहले दिन मां के नाम से कलश स्थापित किया जाता है जिसे कलश स्थापना या घटस्थापना कहा जाता है, पहले दिन घटस्थापना का विशेष महत्व होता है प्रतिपदा तिथि पर कलश स्थापना के साथ ही नौ दिनों तक चलने वाला नवरात्रि का पर्व आरंभ हो जाता है।

चैत्र नवरात्रि घटस्थापना की पूजन सामग्री-
चौड़े मुंह वाला मिट्टी का एक बर्तन, कलश, लाल कपड़ा,सप्तधान्य (7 प्रकार के अनाज), पवित्र स्थान की मिट्टी, जल (संभव हो तो गंगाजल), छिलके/जटा वाला नारियल, कलावा/मौली, आम या अशोक के पत्ते (पल्लव), सुपारी, अक्षत (कच्चा साबुत चावल), पुष्प और पुष्पमाला, मिठाई, सिंदूर, दूर्वा आदि।
नवरात्रि Navratri पर ऐसे करें घटस्थापना विधि-
- : नवरात्रि की प्रतिपदा तिथि पर ब्रह्ममुहूर्त में उठकर स्नान आदि के बाद साफ कपड़े पहनें। पूजा स्थल की साफ-सफाई करके ईशान कोण में एक लकड़ी की चौकी बिछाएं।
- : इसके बाद एक मिट्टी का चौड़े मुंह वाला बर्तन लेकर उसमें मिट्टी रखें। इस मिट्टी के पात्र में थोड़ा सा पानी डालकर मिट्टी गिली करके उसमें जौ बो दें।
- : अब उसके ऊपर एक मिट्टी का कलश या फिर पीतल के कलश में जल भरें और उसके ऊपरी भाग (गर्दन) में कलावा बांधें।
- : कलश में एक बताशा, पूजा की सुपारी, लौंग का जोड़ा और एक सिक्का डालें। अब कलश के ऊपर आम या अशोक के पत्तें लगाएं।
- : इसके बाद एक जटा वाला नारियल लेकर उसके ऊपर लाल कपड़ा लपेटकर मौली बांधकर कलश के ऊपर रख दें। और सबसे पहले गणपति वंदन करें और कलश पर स्वास्तिक बनाएं।
- : घटस्थापना पूरी होने के पश्चात मां दुर्गा का आह्वान करते हुए विधि-विधान से माता शैलपुत्री का पूजन करें।
