मुंबई। बॉलीवुड के इतिहास में शायद पहली बार एक ही सप्ताह में दो वॉर फिल्म ‘शेरशाह’ और ‘भुज- द प्राइड ऑफ इंडिया’ रिलीज़ हुईं। अभी और चार-पांच वॉर फिल्म पाइपलाइन में हैं। इस तरह एक तरफ वॉर फिल्मों की पॉपुलैरिटी बढ़ रही है लेकिन दूसरी और भारत की युद्ध फिल्मों में कल्ट क्लासिक का दर्जा पा चुकी ‘हकीकत’ का कलर वर्जन सालों से रिलीज के इंतजार में है। अब इस फिल्म को नए सिरे से रिलीज करने के लिए ओटीटी प्लेटफार्म ढूंढ़ा जा रहा है।
स्वतंत्रता दिवस और दूसरे राष्ट्रीय त्योहार के मौकों पर ‘कर चले हम फ़िदा जान-ओ-तन’ गाना जरूर बजता है। इसके बोल ऐसे हैं जो आंखों में नमी भी ला देते हैं और खून में देशभक्ति का उबाल भी। सैनिकों की कुर्बानी को सलाम करने वाला यह गाना ‘हकीकत’ फिल्म के क्लाइमेक्स में बजता है।
यह बहुत ही खास बात है क्योंकि आम तौर पर वॉर फिल्में जंग में जीत पर बनाई जाती है लेकिन ‘हकीकत’ को 1962 के भारत-चीन युद्ध में भारतीय सैनिकों की कुर्बानी पर एक थिएट्रिकल श्रद्धांजलि के रूप में बनाया गया था। सालों बाद स्वयं प्रोड्यूसर डायरेक्टर चेतन आनंद ने ख्वाहिश जताई थी कि काश वह यह फिल्म कलर में बना पाते।
1.5 करोड़ में दिया गया है नया रूप
चेतन आनंद के बेटे केतन आनंद ने बताया कि आज की पीढ़ी वॉर फिल्में पसंद कर रही है। वह ‘हकीकत’ जरूर देखना चाहेगी। आज की पीढ़ी की पसंद के अनुसार उसमें कलर और साउंड में भी बदलाव किए गए हैं। इस प्रोजेक्ट में 1.5 करोड़ रूपये का खर्च हुआ है।
कलर वर्जन को स्क्रीन पर ले जाने का संघर्ष
केतन आनंद ने बताया कि ‘हकीकत’ को कलर करने का प्रोजेक्ट 2011 में बना। फिल्म के कलर वर्जन को बड़े पैमाने पर रिलीज करने का प्लान बना था। लेकिन, फिल्म डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर का देहांत हो गया। दो साल पहले यह फिल्म रिलीज करने का फिर प्लान बना पर तब कोरोना की वजह से लॉकडाउन आ गया। इसकी वजह से थिएट्रिकल रिलीज और मुश्किल हो गई। केतन आनंद बताते हैं कि अभी दो नई वॉर फिल्म ओटीटी पर आई हैं। वह भी अब ‘हकीकत’ को नए सिरे से रिलीज करने के लिए ओटीटी का रूट तलाश रहे हैं।
हकीकत 2.0 का भी प्लान
ओरिजिनल ‘हकीकत’ को नया रूप देने के साथ साथ केतन आनंद ने हकीकत 2.0 फिल्म का भी प्लान किया है। केतन कहते हैं कि लॉकडाउन के समय में एक तरफ गलवान में चीन के आक्रमण में हमारे जवान शहीद हुए। दूसरी और हमारे फ्रंट लाइन वॉरियर्स ने कोरोना के खिलाफ जंग लड़ी। इन नए वॉरियर्स की कहानी को लेकर वह हकीकत 2.0 बना रहे हैं। फिल्म प्रोजेक्ट में उनका सहयोग कर रही सरिता चौरसिया ने बताया कि फिल्म की स्क्रिप्ट और दूसरा पेपर वर्क हो चुका है।
‘हकीकत’ क्यों आज भी सबसे बेहतर वॉर फिल्म
भारत मे बनी युद्ध फिल्मो पर एक एनालिटिकल रेफरेन्स बुक लाइट, कैमरा, वॉर : फिफ्टी इंडियन वॉर मूवीज़ 1950-2020 के लेखक के.वी. रमेश ने दैनिक भास्कर को बताया कि ‘हकीकत’ में ऐतिहासिक तथ्य, मनोरंजन और देशभक्ति का असर, इन तीनो बातों का बहुत ही अच्छा संतुलन है।
रमेश बताते हैं कि आजादी के बाद किसी कन्वेन्शनल वॉर पर बनी यह पहली फिल्म थी। इसने कई सारे ट्रेंड सेट किए। पहले सैनिक का फैमिली बैकग्राउंड, उनके परिवारों की याद या फिर कोई खत की बात, फैमिली कनेक्ट, कोई इमोशनल सॉन्ग, टेन्शन बिल्ड अप और फिर जंग के दृश्य। यह टेम्पलेट ‘शेरशाह’ तक ने फॉलो किया है। ‘हकीकत’ एक पॉपुलर बॉलीवुड मूवी होने के साथ-साथ एक वॉर मूवी के सारे पैमानों पर खरी उतरी है। लोकेशन, इक्विपमेंट के यूज और फायरपावर में चीन भारत से सुपीरियर था, यह सारी बातें एकदम अथेंटिक तरीके से बताई गई है। पहली ही वॉर फिल्म के हिसाब से यह बहुत बड़ी बात है।
चेतन आनंद ने ही दूसरी वॉर फिल्म डायरेक्ट की
भारत में कन्वेशनल वॉर पर दूसरी फिल्म ‘हिंदुस्तान की कसम’ भी चेतन आनंद ने ही डायरेक्ट की थी। वह फिल्म इस रूप में अनूठी है कि इसमें 1971 के पाकिस्तान युद्ध में एयरफोर्स के रोल को हाईलाइट किया गया था। इस फिल्म के प्रोडूयसर रवि आनंद थे। बाद में ‘खुदा गवाह’ और ‘हम’ जैसी फिल्में बनाने वाले उनके भाई मुकुल आनंद ने इस फिल्म से बतौर असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर काम शुरू किया था। इसी फिल्म से अमज़द खान का करियर भी शुरू हुआ। रवि और मुकुल आनंद के भाई राहुल आनंद ने बताया कि ‘शोले’ के लिए चयन हो रहा था। उसी वक्त एक रात मुकुल आनंद ने रमेश सिप्पी को ‘हिंदुस्तान की कसम’ के कुछ रशेज दिखाए। उसी के आधार पर अमजद खान को ‘शोले’ के लिए कास्ट किया गया।
‘शेरशाह’ के लिए चेतन आनंद की ही ‘परमवीर चक्र’ का इंस्पिरेशन
अभी रिलीज़ हुई फिल्म ‘शेरशाह’ परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित शहीद विक्रम बत्रा की बायोपिक है। परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित शहीदों की कहानी कहती इसी नाम की सीरियल दूरदर्शन पर 80 के दशक में चेतन आनंद ने ही बनाया था। ‘शेरशाह’ फिल्म में दिखाया गया है कि कैसे विक्रम बत्रा बचपन में पड़ोसी के घर जाकर ‘परमवीर चक्र’ सीरियल देखते थे और इसी से उन्होंने सैनिक बनने की ठान ली थी। केतन बताते हैं कि उन्होंने पिता चेतन आनंद के साथ ‘परमवीर चक्र’ के कुछ एपिसोड डायरेक्ट किए थे। नसीरुद्दीन शाह और फारूक शेख जैसे कलाकारों ने परमवीर चक्र पाने वाले शहीदों का किरदार अदा किया था। केतन आनंद ने बताया कि ‘परमवीर चक्र’ सीरियल के लिए लद्दाख में शूट कर रहे थे उसी वक्त चेतन जी ने लद्दाख के खूबसूरत शोट्स देखकर कहा था कि काश वह ‘हकीकत’ भी कलर में बना पाते। अब यह फिल्म कलर में बन चुकी है। ओटीटी या अच्छा प्लेटफार्म मिल जाए तो यह कलर वर्जन दर्शकों तक पहुंचाने का सपना भी ‘हकीकत’ में बदलेगा।
