सिरोही। राजस्थान के सिरोही में रिश्वतखोरी में पकड़े जाने के डर से एक तहसीलदार ने 20 लाख रुपए के नोट गैस चूल्हे पर रखकर जला दिए। पत्नी ने भी इसमें उसकी मदद की। एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो (ACB) की टीम ने उसके घर पर छापा मारा था। माना जा रहा है कि यह पैसा उसने रिश्वत से जुटाया था और पकड़े जाने के डर से वह सबूत मिटाना चाहता था।
ACB की टीम ने बुधवार शाम सिरोही के भांवरी में रेवेन्यू इंस्पेक्टर (RI) पर्बत सिंह को एक लाख रुपए की रिश्वत लेते पकड़ा था। पूछताछ में उसने बताया कि उसने यह रिश्वत पिंडवाड़ा तहसीलदार कल्पेश जैन के लिए ली है।
तहसीलदार को छापे की भनक पहले ही लगी
खबर लगते ही ACB की टीम कल्पेश के घर पहुंची, लेकिन उसे इसकी भनक पहले ही लग चुकी थी। वह आनन-फानन में घर पहुंचा और खुद को कमरे में बंद कर लिया। पीछे से ACB की टीम भी मौके पर पहुंच गई। लेकिन कल्पेश ने दरवाजा नहीं खोला। उसने नोटों की गडि्डयां गैस चूल्हे पर रखकर जलाना शुरू कर दिया। ACB ने खिड़की का कांच तोड़कर इस घटना का वीडियो बनाया और कल्पेश को ऐसा नहीं करने के लिए कहा, लेकिन वह नहीं माना।

पिंडवाड़ा पुलिस की मदद से ACB ने करीब 1 घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद कटर से दरवाजा काटा। देर रात तक कार्रवाई चलती रही। ACB का दावा है कि उसने करीब 20 लाख रुपए के नोट जलाए हैं। मौके से अधजले नोट बरामद किए गए हैं।
खुली बोली की नीलामी के लिए मांगे थे 5 लाख रुपए
इस मामले में सांडिया निवासी मूलसिंह ने ACB से शिकायत की थी। मूलसिंह का आरोप था कि पिंडवाड़ा रेंज में आंवले की छाल की खुली बोली से नीलामी की जाती है। तहसीलदार कल्पेश जैन ने इस ठेके के लिए 5 लाख रुपए मांगे थे। उसने इस बारे में जब RI पर्बत सिंह से बात की तो उसने कहा कि पहले एक लाख रुपए दे दो। काम होने पर चार लाख रुपए और दे देना।
