नई दिल्ली। ओडिशा ( Odisha ) स्थित जगन्नाथ पुरी ( Jagannath Puri temple ) मंदिर से रथ यात्रा निकाले जाने को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ( Supreme Court ) का बड़ै फैसला सामने आया है। कोरोना संकट के बीच जगन्नाथ पुरी मंदिर को छोड़कर किसी भी मंदिर में रथ यात्रा ( Rath Yatra ) पर रोक लगाने के ओडिशा सरकार ( Odisha Government ) के आदेश में हस्तक्षेप करने से सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इनकार कर दिया।
यही नहीं पुरी मंदिर को भी बेहद प्रतिबंधित यात्रा करने का आदेश दिया गया है। ओडिशा सरकार के आदेश में हस्तक्षेप की मांग वाली याचिका पर वकील जितेंद्र महापात्र ने कहा कि पुरी के अलावा केंद्रपाड़ा यात्रा की अनुमति दी जानी चाहिए, कई याचिकाकर्ताओं का कहना है कि अन्य मंदिरों को भी जगन्नाथ पुरी मंदिर की तरह ही रथ यात्रा करने की अनुमति दी जाए। हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकार के फैसले में दखल देने से इनकार करते हुए मंजूरी नहीं दी।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूरे ओडिशा में रथ यात्रा निकालने पर पाबंदी लगा दी है। कोर्ट ने सिर्फ पुरी में जगन्नाथ मंदिर में रथ यात्रा निकालने की अनुमति दी है। मंगलवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूरे राज्य में रथ यात्रा निकालने वाली दायर याचिका को खारिज कर दिया। सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने कहा कि वह कोरोना संक्रमण फैलने की आशंका को देखते हुए ओडिशा सरकार के आदेश से सहमत है। दरअसल ओडिशा सरकार ने सिर्फ पुरी में रथ यात्रा की अनुमति दी है। जबकि अन्य सभी जगन्नाथ मंदिरों को मंदिर परिसर में ही अनुष्ठान की इजाजत दी गई है। ओडिशा सरकार के इस फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिकाएं दायर की गईं। इन याचिकाओं के जरिए बारीपदा, सासांग और ओडिशा के अन्य शहरों में रथ यात्रा की अनुमति मांगी गई थी। हालांकि देश की शीर्ष अदालत ने रथ यात्रा निकालने की मंजूरी नहीं दी।
