नई दिल्ली। देश में फुटकर महंगाई दर मई में घटकर 4.25% पर आ गई है। यह 25 महीनों में महंगाई का सबसे निचला स्तर है। अप्रैल 2021 में महंगाई 4.23% रही थी। खाने-पीने की चीजों के दाम में गिरावट के कारण महंगाई में यह कमी आई है। इससे पहले अप्रैल 2023 में रिटेल महंगाई दर 4.70% रही थी।
ग्रामीण महंगाई दर 4.68% से घटकर 4.17% पर आ गई है। शहरी महंगाई दर 4.85% से घटकर 4.27% पर आ गई है। कंज्यूमर प्राइस इंडेक्स (CPI) के बास्केट में लगभग आधी हिस्सेदारी खाने-पीने की चीजों की होती है। मई में खाद्य महंगाई दर घटकर 2.91% पर आ गई है। अप्रैल 2023 में यह 3.84% और मार्च में 4.79% रही थी।
महंगाई घटना इकोनॉमी के लिए अच्छा संकेत
महंगाई में आई गिरावट को लेकर एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि यह इकोनॉमी के लिए अच्छा संकेत है। सप्लाई चेन में सुधार और कमोडिटी की कीमत में राहत का भी फायदा मिला है। हालांकि इस महीने हुई मॉनेटरी पॉलिसी मीटिंग की जानकारी देते हुए RBI गवर्नर ने कहा था कि महंगाई को लेकर चिंता और अनिश्चितता अभी भी बरकरार है।
CPI क्या होता है?
एक ग्राहक के तौर पर आप और हम रिटेल मार्केट से सामान खरीदते हैं। इससे जुड़ी कीमतों में हुए बदलाव को दिखाने का काम कंज्यूमर प्राइस इंडेक्स यानी CPI करता है। हम सामान और सर्विसेज के लिए जो औसत मूल्य चुकाते हैं, CPI उसी को मापता है।
कच्चे तेल, कमोडिटी की कीमतों, मेन्युफैक्चर्ड कॉस्ट के अलावा कई अन्य चीजें भी होती हैं, जिनकी रिटेल महंगाई दर तय करने में अहम भूमिका होती है। करीब 300 सामान ऐसे हैं, जिनकी कीमतों के आधार पर रिटेल महंगाई का रेट तय होता है।
महंगाई कैसे प्रभावित करती है?
महंगाई का सीधा संबंध पर्चेजिंग पावर से है। उदाहरण के लिए, यदि महंगाई दर 7% है, तो अर्जित किए गए 100 रुपए का मूल्य सिर्फ 93 रुपए होगा। इसलिए महंगाई को देखते हुए ही निवेश करना चाहिए। नहीं तो आपके पैसे की वैल्यू कम हो जाएगी।
RBI कैसे कंट्रोल करती है महंगाई?
महंगाई कम करने के लिए बाजार में पैसों के बहाव (लिक्विडिटी) को कम किया जाता है। इसके लिए रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (RBI) रेपो रेट बढ़ाता है। जैसे RBI ने अप्रैल और जून में रेपो रेट में इजाफा न करने का फैसला किया था। इससे पहले RBI ने रेपो रेट में लगातार 6 बार इजाफा किया था। RBI ने महंगाई के अनुमान में भी कटौती की थी।
महंगाई कैसे बढ़ती-घटती है?
महंगाई का बढ़ना और घटना प्रोडक्ट की डिमांड और सप्लाई पर निर्भर करता है। अगर लोगों के पास पैसे ज्यादा होंगे तो वह ज्यादा चीजें खरीदेंगे। ज्यादा चीजें खरीदने से चीजों की डिमांड बढ़ेगी और डिमांड के मुताबिक सप्लाई नहीं होने पर इन चीजों की कीमत बढ़ेगी।
इस तरह बाजार महंगाई की चपेट में आ जाता है। सीधे शब्दों में कहें तो बाजार में पैसों का अत्यधिक बहाव या चीजों की शॉर्टेज महंगाई का कारण बनता है। वहीं अगर डिमांड कम होगी और सप्लाई ज्यादा तो महंगाई कम होगी।
RBI ने कहा- महंगाई पर अर्जुन की नजर रखने की जरूरत
RBI गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने महंगाई पर अर्जुन की नजर बनाए रखने की जरूरत को दोहराया था। उन्होंने कहा था कि महंगाई अभी भी 4% के टारगेट से ऊपर बनी हुई है। RBI के अनुमान के अनुसार वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 (FY24) में महंगाई 4% के ऊपर ही रहने की संभावना है। RBI ने महंगाई अनुमान को FY24 में 5.2% से घटाकर 5.1% किया है।
