झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा (झामुमो) की महुआ माझी और भाजपा के आदित्य साहू को शुक्रवार को झारखंड से राज्यसभा के लिए निर्विरोध निर्वाचित घोषित किया गया। माजी और साहू की संसद के उच्च सदन में यह पहली पारी होगी। राज्य की 81 सदस्यीय विधानसभा में झामुमो के 30 विधायक हैं, जबकि कांग्रेस के 17 विधायक तथा मुख्य विपक्षी दल भाजपा के 26 विधायक हैं।
बिहार : तीनों दलों को पांचों प्रत्याशी निर्विरोध निर्वाचित
बिहार से राज्यसभा की पांचों सीटों के लिए जदयू, भाजपा और राजद के प्रत्याशी शुकवार को निर्विरोध निर्वाचित हो गए। जदयू प्रत्याशी खीरू महतो, भाजपा उम्मीदवार सतीश चंद्र दूबे एवं शंभू शरण पटेल जबकि राजद प्रत्याशी मीसा भारती और डॉ. फैयाज अहमद को जीत का प्रमाणपत्र अपराह्न करीब चार बजे दिया गया।
तमिलनाडु : चिदंबरम समेत छह उम्मीदवार राज्यसभा पहुंचे
तमिलनाडु से भी नामांकन दाखिल करने वाले सभी छह उम्मीदवारों को अधिकारियों ने शुक्रवार को निर्विरोध निर्वाचित घोषित कर दिया। इनमें सत्ताधारी द्रमुक के तीन उम्मीदवार भी हैं। निर्विरोध निर्वाचित होने वालों में सत्ताधारी द्रमुक के एस कल्याणसुंदरम, आर गिरिराजन और केआरएन राजेश कुमार, अन्नाद्रमुक के सीवी शनमुगम और आर धर्मर एवं कांग्रेस पार्टी के उम्मीदवार पी. चिदंबरम शामिल हैं। चिदंबरम के चयन के साथ कांग्रेस पार्टी के पास लंबे अंतराल के बाद राज्यसभा में तमिलनाडु से एक सदस्य होगा। 2016 में चिदंबरम महाराष्ट्र से राज्यसभा के लिए चुने गए थे और उनका कार्यकाल इस साल 4 जुलाई को समाप्त हो रहा है।
उत्तराखंड : डॉ. कल्पना सैनी के निर्चाचन पर लगी मुहर
भाजपा नेता डॉ. कल्पना सैनी राज्यसभा के लिए निर्विरोध निर्वाचित हो गई हैं। इस तरह अब लोकसभा के साथ ही राज्यसभा की तीनों सीटें भी भाजपा के झोली में आ गई हैं। मीडिया से बातचीत में डॉ. सैनी ने कहा कि वह पार्टी नेतृत्व की कसौटी पर खरा उतरने का प्रयास करेंगी। खुद को उत्तराखंड की बेटी बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि वह प्रदेश की समस्याओं को राज्यसभा में उठाएंगी।
आंध्र प्रदेश : वाईएसआरसी के चार प्रत्याशी जीते
