नई दिल्ली. जी 20 शिखर सम्मेलन में शामिल होने के बाद सऊदी अरब के क्राउन प्रिंस मुहम्मद बिन सलमान बिन अब्दुलअजीज अल सउद और पीएम मोदी ने दिल्ली के हैदराबाद हाउस में द्विपक्षीय बातचीत की। पीएम मोदी ने इस बैठक से पहले राष्ट्रपति भवन में उनका औपचारिक स्वागत किया। इसके के बाद दोनों देशों के नेताओं ने एक संयुक्त बयान जारी किया।
पीएम मोदी ने कही ये बातें
पीएम मोदी ने अपने बयान में कहा कि भारत के लिए सऊदी अरब महत्वपूर्ण है। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि दोनों देशों के बीच आपसी सहयोग भी बढ़ रहा है। उन्होंने आगे कहा, ‘आज की बैठक से हमारे संबंधों को एक नई दिशा मिलेगी और हमें मिलकर मानवता की भलाई के लिए काम करते रहने की प्रेरणा मिलेगी। कल हमने भारत, पश्चिमी एशिया और यूरोप के बीच कॉरिडोर स्थापित करने के लिए ऐतिहासिक शुरुआत की है। इससे न केवल दोनों देश आपस में जुड़ेंगे बल्कि एशिया, पश्चिम एशिया और यूरोप के बीच आर्थिक सहयोग, ऊर्जा के विकास और डिजिटल कनेक्टिविटी को बल मिलेगा।’

विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता अरिंदम बागची ने ट्वीट कर बताया कि प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और सऊदी अरब साम्राज्य के क्राउन प्रिंस और प्रधानमंत्री प्रिंस मोहम्मद बिन सलमान ने भारत-सऊदी अरब रणनीतिक साझेदारी परिषद की पहली नेताओं की बैठक आयोजित की। उन्होंने बताया कि इस बातचीत में ऊर्जा सुरक्षा, व्यापार और निवेश, रक्षा और सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य देखभाल, खाद्य सुरक्षा, संस्कृति और सामुदायिक कल्याण मुद्दों सहित द्विपक्षीय सहयोग के व्यापक क्षेत्र के मुद्दे शामिल हैं।
