विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की 10 प्रभावशाली महिलाओं को राज्यपाल मिश्र ने किया सम्मानित
जयपुर @ jagruk janta। राज्यपाल श्री कलराज मिश्र ने देश में महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए अधिकाधिक प्रयास किए जाने पर जोर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस समाज में महिलाओं को आगे बढ़ने के अवसर मिलते हैं, वही तेजी से विकास की ओर अग्रसर होता है। उन्होंने मीडिया को सामाजिक दायित्व समझते हुए महिला सशक्तिकरण के योगदान देने का भी आह्वान किया।
श्री मिश्र गुरुवार को एक होटल में ‘इण्डिया टुडे’ समूह द्वारा आयोजित ‘इण्डिया टुडे वूमेन समिट एण्ड अवार्ड समारोह’- शक्ति, साहस और सफलता उत्सव में संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने समाज सेवा क्षेत्र में तारा अहलूवालिया को, खेल क्षेत्र में भारतीय घुड़सवारी एथलीट दिव्यकृति को, संतोष देवी को खेती क्षेत्र में, राजसमंद के पिपलांत्री गांव में 18 वर्षों से नवाचार कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए कार्य करने वाली अनीता पालीवाल को, प्रशासनिक सेवा में लेडी सिंघम के नाम से मशहूर प्रीति चंद्रा को, ग्रामीण विकास के लिए नीरू यादव को, बाल विवाह रोकथाम के लिए प्रयासों हेतु डॉ. कृति भारती को, श्रमिक महिला अधिकारों हेतु डॉ. मेवा भारती को, दिव्यांग बच्चों के लिए कार्य करने वाली मोनिका जांगिड़ को, और बहादुरी के लिए आयरन लेडी के नाम से मशहूर वसुंधरा चौहान को प्रभावशाली महिला के रूप में ‘इण्डिया टुडे’ अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में प्रभावशाली महिलाओं का सम्मान अनुकरणीय पहल है।
श्री मिश्र ने कहा कि महिलाओं को यदि अवसर मिलते हैं तो वह सभी क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट करने का प्रयास करती हैं। उन्होंने बंधी-बंधाई लीक से हटकर विशिष्ट क्षेत्रों में कार्य करने वाली महिलाओं की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उनके किए कार्य दूसरी महिलाओं को भी प्रेरणा देंगें। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा संविधान महिलाओं की समानता की गारंटी ही नहीं देता है, लैंगिक आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं करने को भी सुनिश्चित करता है। उन्होंने ‘नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम’ की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि इससे महिलाओं को लोकतंत्र में भागीदारी के अधिकाधिक अवसर मिल सकेंगे। उन्होंने महिला शिक्षा और समाज में फैली कुरीतियों के निवारण के लिए भी सभी को मिलकर प्रयास करने पर जोर दिया।
राज्यपाल ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में महिला समानता के अवसर बढ़ाने, कन्या भ्रुण हत्याओं पर प्रभावी कार्य करने, लैंगिक असमानता को रोके जाने के साथ ही महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए सैद्धान्तिक ही नहीं व्यावहारिक कार्य किए जाने की आवश्यकता जताई। उन्होंने मीडिया समूहों द्वारा सामाजिक दायित्व समझते हुए सामाजिक मुद्दों पर गंभीर होकर कार्य करने पर भी जोर दिया। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में महती कार्य करने वाली दस प्रभावशाली महिलाओं को ‘इण्डिया टुडे’ अवार्ड प्रदान किया गया। इससे पहले राज्यपाल ने सभी को संविधान की उद्देशिका और मूल कर्तव्यों का वाचन करवाया। पूर्व में इण्डिया टुडे के हिंदी संपादक सौरभ द्विवेदी ने स्वागत उद्बोधन दिया। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने सम्मानित महिलाओं के सम्मान में प्रकाशित परिचय पुस्तक का भी लोकार्पण किया।
