केंद्र सरकार की एजेंसी नेशनल क्राइम रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो (NCRB) ने बीते बुधवार को साल 2020 के आंकड़े जारी कर दिए हैं। जारी किये गये इन आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, सबसे ज्यादा रेप केस के मामलों में राजस्थान टॉप ट्रैंड पर रहा है। यहां बीते साल 5 हजार 310 रेप केस दर्ज हुए। जबकि उत्तर प्रदेश में 2 हजार 796 रेप के मामले सामने आये। वहीं तीसरे नंबर मध्यप्रदेश रहा जहां पर 2 हजार 339 मामलों दर्ज हुए और महाराष्ट्र चौथे नंबर पर रहा 2 हजार 61 रेप के मामले दर्ज हुए।
रिपोर्ट में जानकारी दी गई कि 18 साल से कम उम्र की बलात्कार पीड़िताओं की संख्या देश में 2 हजार 640 रही, जबकि 18 साल से ऊपर की पीड़िताओं की संख्या 25 हजार 406 रही। वहीं सबसे ज्यादा मामलों वाले राजस्थान में 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र की बलात्कार पीड़िताओं की संख्या देश में 1 हजार 279 रही, जबकि 18 वर्ष से ऊपर की पीड़िताओं की संख्या 4 हजार 031 रही। इस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार राजस्थान में आधे से अधिक बलात्कार के मामलों में अपराधी कथित रूप से पारिवारिक मित्र, पड़ोसी, कर्मचारी या अन्य ज्ञात लोग शामिल थे।
वहीं देश में सबसे कम रेप रेप केस वाले 5 राज्य रहे- सिक्किम- 12 केस, नागालैंड- 4 केस, मणिपुर- 32 केस, मिजोरम- 33 केस गोवा और अरुणाचल प्रदेश- 60 केस।
