नारायण सेवा संस्थान में रोटरी इंटरनेशनल अध्यक्ष शेखर मेहता ने दिया 1.34 करोड़ का चेक
उदयपुर । रोटरी अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय के अध्यक्ष शेखर मेहता ने शनिवार को नारायण सेवा संस्थान के लियो का गुड़ा स्थित सेवा महातीर्थ में प्रोस्थेटिक एवं ऑर्थोटिक सेन्ट्रल फेब्रीकेशन सेंटर की स्थापना के क्रम में ग्लोबल ग्रांट की लाॅचिंग की । समारोह में विशिष्ट अतिथि रोटरी डिस्ट्रिक्ट (3054) के प्रांतपाल राजेश अग्रवाल, रोटरी क्लब-मेवाड़ के संरक्षक हंसराज चौधरी, अध्यक्ष सुरेश जैन, सहायक प्रांतपाल संदीप सिंघटवाड़िया व पूर्व अध्यक्ष निर्मल सिंघवी थे ।
अध्यक्ष मेहता ने दिव्यांगो की चिकित्सा, पुनर्वास एवं रोजगार के क्षेत्र में नारायण सेवा संस्थान की अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सेवाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि रोटरी अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय ने इसी से प्रभावित होेकर संस्थान में 1 करोड़ 34 लाख रु की शुरुआती लागत से सेन्ट्रल फेब्रीकेशन सेंटर की स्थापना का निर्णय किया है । इससे दिव्यांगो को कृत्रिम हाथ-पैर निःशुल्क तो मिलेंगे ही वे अत्याधुनिक भी होगें । जिससे दिव्यांगो की दिनचर्या और अधिक आसान हो जायेगी । उन्होंने संस्थान की कृत्रिम अंग एवं कैलिपर वर्कशॉप का अवलोकन करने के साथ ही निःशुल्क ऑपरेशन के लिए संस्थान में देश के विभिन्न भागों से आये दिव्यांगों से मुलाकात की।
रोटरी अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष का स्वागत करते हुए संस्थान अध्यक्ष प्रशांत अग्रवाल ने बताया कि संस्थान में रोटरी क्लब के सहयोग से दिव्यांगो के जीवन में परिर्वतनकारी बहुप्रतिक्षित योजना साकार हो रही है । इस सेंटर में अत्याधुनिक मशीनों से बनने वाले कृत्रिम अंग हादसों में अपने हाथ-पांव खो देने वालों के लिये नवजीवन का वरदान होंगे ।रोटरी क्लब मेवाड़ के अध्यक्ष सुरेश जैन ने बताया कि इस फेब्रिकेशन सेंटर के दोनों चरणों का कार्य पूर्ण होने के बाद यह अत्याधुनिक कृत्रिम अंग निर्माण के क्षेत्र में देश का पहला सेंटर होगा।
संस्थान की कृत्रिम अंग अंग-कैलिपर शाखा प्रभारी डॉ मानस रंजन साहू ने सेंटर की तकनीकी जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इस समय प्रतिवर्ष 15 हजार दिव्यांगों को निःशुल्क कैलिपर और कृत्रिम अंग लगाए जा रहे है। सेंटर में काम शुरू होने पर गुणवत्तापूर्ण उत्पादन क्षमता कई गुणा बढ़ जाएगी, जिससे अधिकाधिक दिव्यांग लाभान्वित हो सकेंगे।समारोह में मेहता ने रोटरी क्लब मेवाड़ के सेवा कार्यों की पुस्तिका का भी विमोचन किया। संयोजन महिम जैन और विदेश विभाग प्रमुख रविश कावड़िया ने किया।
रोटरी क्लब मेवाड़ के संरक्षक हंसराज चैधरी ने बताया कि रोटरी क्लब आॅफ एमोरी ड्युड हिल्स (यूएसए), रोटरी इंटरनेशनल, रोटरी फाउण्डेशन तथा रोटरी क्लब आॅफ मेवाड़ के संयुक्त सहयोगसे स्थापित होने वाले इस संेटर से देश-विदेश में जरूरतमंद दिव्यांेगो को कम से कम समय में कृत्रिम मोड्यूलर हाथ-पैर उपलब्ध हो सकेंगे । इस मौके पर विश्व में अत्याधुनिक कृत्रिम अंग के निर्माण में अग्रणी जर्मनी की ऑटोबॉक कम्पनी के भारत स्थित प्रतिनिधि नागेश गुर्जर को मेहता व रोटरी पदाधिकारियों ने 1लाख 83 हजार डॉलर का चेक प्रदान किया। जो नवनिर्मित सेंटर में मशीनें और उपकरण लगाएगी।
