साल 2005 से 2018 तक हाईकोर्ट में न्यायाधीश रह चुके हैं गोपालकृष्ण व्यास
जोधपुर। राज्य सरकार ने राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट के रिटायर्ड न्यायाधीश गोपालकृष्ण व्यास को राज्य मानवाधिकार आयोग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। मुख्यमंत्री गहलोत की ओर से की गई इस नियुक्ति को उनके गृहनगर जोधपुर की राजनीति में जातीय संतुलन साधने के प्रयास के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। पूर्व न्यायाधीश व्यास को गहलोत का करीबी माना जाता है। ऐसे में पहले से कयास लगाए जा रहे थे कि गहलोत उनके अनुभव का लाभ उठाते हुए कोई महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी सौंपेंगे।
अपनी नियुक्ति को लेकर पूर्व न्यायाधीश व्यास ने कहा कि जोधपुर के लोगों की न्यायिक क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर रहने की लंबी परम्परा रही है। इस कड़ी में मैं सबसे छोटा आदमी हूं। लेकिन मुझे जो जिम्मेदारी गहलोत सरकार ने सौंपी है उस पर मैं खरा उतरने का पूरा प्रयास करूंगा। मेरा सबसे बड़ा दायित्व होगा कि जिस तरह लोगों के मानवाधिकार का हनन होता है, या जिनके अधिकार नहीं मिल पाते हैं। यदि वे लोग अपनी समस्या मेरे संज्ञान में लाएंगे तो मैं उनके लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहूंगा।
न्यायाधीश गोपाल कृष्ण व्यास का जन्म बीकानेर में हुआ था। उनका ननिहाल जोधपुर में रहा। ऐसे में उनकी शिक्षा और कर्मभूमि जोधपुर बन गया। साल 2005 में उन्हें राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट का न्यायाधीश बनाया गया था। वे वर्ष 218 में रिटायर्ड हुए। वे ज्यूडिशियल अकादमी के चेयरमैन रहने के अलावा राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष भी रह चुके हैं। पिछले विधानसभा और लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान उनका नाम संभावित प्रत्याशियों के रूप में प्रमुखता से सामने आया था।
गहलोत ने साधा जातीय संतुलन
मुख्यमंत्री गहलोत के गृह नगर जोधपुर में विधानसभा टिकट की मांग को लेकर ब्राह्मण समाज और गहलोत में कुछ दूरिया बन गई थी। ब्राह्मण समाज ने जोधपुर शहर से टिकट की मांग की, लेकिन कांग्रेस ने फलोदी से समाज के व्यक्ति को टिकट थमा दिया। इसके बाद प्रदेश में सरकार बनते ही बड़ी संख्या में सरकारी कर्मचारियों के तबादले हुए। इन तबादलों को लेकर समाज के लोगों की गहलोत के प्रति नाराजगी बढ़ गई।
समाज की तरफ से गाहे-बगाहे इस नाराजगी को खुलकर दर्शाया भी गया। इसके बाद से माना जा रहा था कि गहलोत ब्राह्मण समाज के लोगों को कोई पद देकर अवश्य खुश करेंगे। इस कड़ी में उन्होंने गोपालकृष्ण व्यास को नियुक्त कर दिया। ब्राह्मण समाज से कई लोग कतार में थे। गहलोत की इस सोशल इजीनियरिंग के नतीजे सामने आने में फिलहाल समय लगेगा, लेकिन उनके इस फैसले से ब्राह्मण समाज में कुछ डैमेज कंट्रोल होगा।
