बीकानेर@जागरूक जनता। सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर प्रभावी अंकुश लगाने के लिए जिले में 7 जुलाई तक संयुक्त विशेष सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान चलाया जाएगा। जिला कलक्टर भगवती प्रसाद कलाल ने बताया कि 24 घंटे चलने वाले इस अभियान के लिए राजस्व, पुलिस और परिवहन विभाग के संयुक्त विशेष जांच दलों का गठन किया गया है। ये दल नियमित भ्रमण कर निर्धारित सीमा से तेज चलने वाले और यातायत नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहनों के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार सख्त कार्रवाई करेंगे।
भगवती प्रसाद ने बताया कि गति सीमा की अवहेलना करने वाले वाहन चालकों का लाइसेंस जब्त कर निरस्तीकरण की कार्यवाही की जाएगी। सम्बंधित राजस्व तहसीलदार को इस दलों के लिए कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेट नियुक्त किया गया है।
जिला कलक्टर ने बताया कि इस अभियान के तहत 7 जुलाई तक दलों की राउंड द क्लोक डूयूटी लगाई गई है। अभियान की मॉनिटरिंग के लिए अतिरिक्त जिला कलक्टर शहर तथा अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक शहर को नोडल अधिकारी तथा जिला परिवहन अधिकारी को सहायक नोडल अधिकारी बनाया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस विभाग से समन्वय करते हुए इंटरसेप्टर वाहनों का प्रयोग कर आवश्यक कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं ।
दुपहिया वाहनों पर चालक और पीछे बैठने वाली सवारियों के लिए अनिवार्य हेलमेट के प्रावधान की सख्ती से पालना करवाई जाएगी। साथ ही सीट बेल्ट के अनिवार्य प्रयोग के संबंध में भी जांच होगी। इस दौरान जन जागृति अभियान भी चलाया जाएगा जिसके माध्यम से लोगों को सड़क नियमों की अनुपालना के लिए प्रेरित किया जाएगा। निर्धारित क्षमता से अधिक सवारियां ढोते पाए जाने, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों मुख्य सड़कों पर अवैध रूप से पार्किंग करने वाले वाहनों, बिना वैद्य लाइसेंस के वाहन चलाने, बिना फिटनेस प्रमाण पत्र के वाहन चलाने आदि के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कड़ी कार्यवाही किए जाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
