मिली जानकारी के अनुसार चोरी की घटना बंगला नगर में एसबीआई बैंक के पीछे सर्वोदय बस्ती में भंवरलाल ओझा के घर की बताई जा रही है । पुलिस के अनुसार देर रात यहां करीब 80 लाख रूपए के आभूषण चोरी हुए हैं। सुबह घर के लोग उठे तो चोरी की वारदात सामने आई। इतनी बड़ी चोरी की सूचना समूचे शहर में आग की तरह फैल गई । वंही पुलिस को इत्तला मिलने पर एएएसपी शैलेन्द्र सिंह इंदोलिया, सीओ सुभाष शर्मा, सीआई गोविंद सिंह चारण, सब इंस्पेक्टर पिंकी गंगवाल सहित डॉग स्क्वायड व डीएसटी सहित फोरेंसिक टीम मौके पर पहुंची। पुलिस का अनुमान है कि चोरी हुए आभूषण की कीमत तकरीबन 80 तक हो सकती हैं।
वंही चोरों की इस करतूत के फुटेज घटनास्थल के आसपास गली में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे में कैद हो गए । फुटेज में आधी रात को 6 चोर जिसमे एक युवती शामिल इन सभी की अनुमानित उम्र 20 से 25 वर्ष के बीच प्रतीत होती है, मेंढक चाल के साथ रसोई की खिड़की तोड़ अंदर घुसे और कमरों में सो रहे परिवार के लोगो को कुंडी लगाकर बंद कर दिया और दूसरे कमरे में रखे दो बॉक्स जिसमे जेवरात थे उठाकर ले गए और कुछ दूर जाकर एक खाली प्लॉट में बॉक्स खाली कर आभूषण ले गए।
