जांच पड़ताल में सामने आया है कि गैंग महाराष्ट्र के कोल्हापुर में बॉलीवुड एक्टर सुनील शेट्टी के रिश्तेदार के बंगले में भी चोरी की बड़ी वारदात कर चुका है। उनके कब्जे से सोने व चांदी के आभूषण, घड़ियां, मोबाइल फोन और विदेशी मुद्रा बरामद हुई है। गैंग सरगना सतपाल उर्फ फौजी ने चोरी के रुपयों से झुंझुनूं जिले के पिलानी शहर में आलीशान कोठी बनाई है।
डीसीपी (साउथ) हरेंद्र महावर ने बताया कि ये लोग वारदात के दौरान घटनास्थल पर फर्जी नाम-पते से प्राप्त मोबाइल सिम का उपयोग करते हैं। एक बार उपयोग में ली गई मोबाइल सिम को दोबारा काम में नहीं लेते है। इसके अलावा वारदात में प्रयुक्त वाहनों पर भी दूसरे वाहनों की नम्बर प्लेट लगा लेते हैं। पिछले दिनों श्याम नगर इलाके में फ्लैट्स में नकबजनी की पांच वारदातें की। इन वारदातों के खुलासे के लिए सोढाला एसीपी भोपाल सिंह भाटी और श्याम नगर थानाप्रभारी संतरा मीणा के सुपरविजन में पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले। तब गैंग के सरगना सतपाल उर्फ फौजी की पहचान कर धरदबोचा।

सोडाला एसीपी भोपाल सिंह भाटी ने बताया कि गैंग ने राजस्थान, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक, मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश, कोलकाता, तमिलनाडु, तेलगांना, केरल में 250 से ज्यादा वारदात करना कबूल किया है। वहीं जयपुर शहर में श्याम नगर में नकबजनी की पांच वारदात के अलावा चित्रकूट ,वैशाली नगर, मुहाना में वारदातें करना सामने आया है।
एसीपी भाटी के मुताबिक, गैंग सरगना सतपाल सिंह उर्फ फौजी (40) मूल रुप से मानेसर जिला गुडगांव हरियाणा का है। यहां आजाद कॉलोनी, पिलानी तहसील सुरजगढ़ जिला झुंझुनूं में रहता है। जबकि आरोपी आकाश (25), सूर्यकान्त शर्मा (28) और कंचन शर्मा (32) है। ये तीनों सगे भाई बहन है, जो कि वार्ड नंबर 8, आजाद कॉलोनी, पिलानी जिला झुंझुनूं के रहने वाले है। यहां रामनगरिया स्थित सौम्या रेजीडेन्सी अपार्टमेंट रघुनन्दन विहार में रहते हैं।
