बीकानेर@जागरूक जनता। जिले में वैक्सीनेशन ऑन व्हील्स अभियान को दो कदम आगे बढ़ाते हुए 8 बाइक टीका एक्सप्रेस व 6 टीका रथ द्वारा गली-गली गांव-गांव टीकाकरण शुरू किया गया। गुरुवार प्रातः कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर से जिला कलेक्टर भगवती प्रसाद कलाल ने गाड़ियों के इस नए बेड़े को हरी झंडी दिखाते हुए पूरे जोश के साथ रवाना किया। इस अवसर पर सीएमएचओ डॉ बी एल मीणा, आर सी एच ओ डॉ राजेश कुमार गुप्ता, केयर इंडिया की प्रतिनिधि चारु जोहरी, डॉ नवल किशोर गुप्ता व आईईसी समन्वयक मालकोश आचार्य सहित विभागीय अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
जिला कलेक्टर ने बताया कि बाइक टीका एक्सप्रेस द्वारा पुराने शहर की तंग गलियों तथा शहर के बाहरी दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों पर फोकस करते हुए लाभार्थियों तक टीकाकरण सेवाएं पहुंचाने का काम होगा। उन्होंने कोविड टीकाकरण को शत प्रतिशत उपलब्धि तक ले जाने में एनजीओ केयर इंडिया के सहयोग को अत्यंत उपयोगी माना।

आरसीएचओ डॉ राजेश कुमार गुप्ता ने बताया कि जिले में अब तक साढ़े 31 लाख से अधिक वैक्सीन डोज लगाई जा चुकी है। वर्तमान में 15 वर्ष आयु से अधिक के सभी वर्गों के लिए प्रथम, द्वितीय डोज, हेल्थ केयर, फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर तथा 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के लिए प्रिकॉशन डोज का अभियान जारी है।
