भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) ने घरेलू क्रिकेट के लिए नया कार्यक्रम जारी किया है, जिसमें अगले साल की शुरुआत में रणजी ट्रॉफी कराने का फैसला लिया गया है। पिछले साल कोरोना वायरस के चलते रणजी ट्रॉफी का आयोजन नहीं किया जा सका था, लेकिन इस बार BCCI देश के सबसे बड़े घरेलू टूर्नामेंट के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार है। रणजी ट्रॉफी का आयोजन अगले साल 5 जनवरी से 20 मार्च के बीच किया जाएगा।
20 सितंबर से शुरू होगा पहला टूर्नामेंट
घरेलू सत्र का आगाज 20 सितंबर से महिला और पुरुषों की अंडर-19 (वीनू मांकड़ ट्रॉफी) के साथ होगा। इसके बाद महिला और पुरुष दोनों के लिए 25 और 26 अक्टूबर को अंडर-19 चैलेंजर ट्रॉफी का आयोजन किया जाएगा। अंडर-25 राज्य के एकदिवसीय 9 नवंबर से 10 दिसंबर तक, जबकि सीके नायडू ट्रॉफी (पिछले साल की अंडर-23 से अब अंडर-25 तक) 6 जनवरी से शुरू होगी और फाइनल 2 अप्रैल को खेला जाएगा।

BCCI सचिव जय शाह ने राज्य इकाइयों को भेजे पत्र में कहा, ‘महामारी के कारण हम सभी के लिए मुश्किल वक्त रहा है। हम सभी को कुछ मुश्किल फैसले लेने पड़े, जिसने हमें देश में एक पूर्ण घरेलू क्रिकेट सीजन से रोक दिया। BCCI की ओर से हम अपने सभी राज्य संघों, प्रशासकों, मैच अधिकारियों, कोच और एथलीटों को उनके धैर्य और समझ के लिए धन्यवाद देते हैं।’
27 अक्टूबर से शुरू होगी सैयद मुश्ताक अली ट्रॉफी
IPL फेज-2 की समाप्ति के बाद सैयद मुश्ताक अली ट्रॉफी का आयोजन 27 अक्टूबर से किया जाएगा, ताकि सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ियों की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित हो सके। इस टूर्नामेंट का फाइनल 22 नवंबर को खेला जाएगा। विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी एक से 29 दिसंबर तक खेली जाएगी, जबकि सीनियर महिला टीम अपना पहला टूर्नामेंट राष्ट्रीय एकदिवसीय 20 अक्टूबर से 20 नवंबर तक खेलेगी।
एक टीम में केवल 30 सदस्यों को मिलेगी जगह
BCCI की ओर से कहा गया है कि एक टीम में अधिकतम सदस्यों की संख्या 30 होगी। इनमें 20 खिलाड़ी और 10 कोचिंग स्टाफ के सदस्य शामिल होंगे। साथ ही रणजी ट्रॉफी, विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी और सैयद मुश्ताक अली ट्रॉफी के लिए 38 टीमों को 6 ग्रुप में विभाजित किया जाएगा। 6-6 टीमों के पांच एलीट ग्रुप होंगे और आठ टीमों का एक प्लेट ग्रुप होगा। अंडर-25 के लिए 6-6 टीमों के पांच एलीट ग्रुप होंगे, जबकि 7 टीमों का एक प्लेट ग्रुप होगा।
