जयपुर। राज्यपाल श्री कलराज मिश्र को गुरुवार को यहां राजभवन में छठे राज्य वित्त आयोग का अंतिम प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया गया।
राज्य वित्त आयोग के अध्यक्ष श्री प्रद्युम्न सिंह के नेतृत्व में वित्त आयोग के सदस्य श्री अशोक लाहोटी, सदस्य सचिव श्री एस. सी. देराश्री, संयुक्त सचिव श्री राजेश गुप्ता एवं सलाहकार श्री शांतिलाल जैन ने राज्यपाल को वित्त आयोग की हस्ताक्षरित प्रति सौंपी।
उल्लेखनीय है कि इस आयोग का गठन संविधान के अनुच्छेद 243 के अंतर्गत 12 अप्रैल 2021 को किया गया था। इसमें पंचायतीराज संस्थाओं, शहरी निकायों को संविधान और पंचायती राज तथा राजस्थान नगरपालिका अधिनियम के अंतर्गत सौंपे गए मूलभूत कार्यों के संपादन हेतु राज्य सरकार द्वारा दी जाने वाली आर्थिक सहायता और इनके कार्यकलापों में सुधार लाने की सिफारिशों की व्यवस्था रहती है।
