यात्रा को लेकर अमित शाह ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल व सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के प्रमुखों के साथ बैठक की। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार बैठक में केंद्रीय गृह सचिव अजय भल्ला, इंटेलिजेंस ब्यूरो के प्रमुख तपन डेका, उत्तरी कमान के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ उपेंद्र द्विवेदी, सीआरपीएफ के महानिदेशक एसएल थाउसेन सहित अन्य अधिकारी शामिल रहे।

श्री अमरनाथ जी श्राइन बोर्ड ने तीर्थयात्रियों की सेहत को देखते हुए स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक खानों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। बोर्ड ने नया फूड मेनू जारी किया है। यह फूड मेनू तीर्थयात्रियों के साथ ही भोजन परोसने और बेचने के लिए यात्रा क्षेत्र में आने वाले लंगर संगठनों, फूड स्टॉलों, दुकानों और अन्य प्रतिष्ठानों पर लागू होगा।
