जयपुर@जागरूक जनता। राज्य विधानसभा ने बुधवार को राजस्थान राज्य पथ परिवहन सेवा (बिना टिकट यात्रा-निवारण) (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2021 ध्वनिमत से पारित कर दिया। इस विधेयक पारित होने के बाद अब बिना टिकट यात्रियों से किराया राशि के साथ-साथ किराया राशि का 10 गुणा या 2000 रूपये (जो दोनों में कम हो) अधिभार वसूल किया जा सकेगा।
इससे पहले परिवहन मंत्री प्रताप सिंह खाचरियावास ने सदन में विधेयक प्रस्तुत किया। विधेयक पर सदन में हुई चर्चा का जवाब देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि इस विधेयक के जरिए राजस्थान राज्य पथ परिवहन निगम की बसों में बिना टिकट यात्रा करने वालों पर अंकुश लगेगा।
परिवहन मंत्री ने कहा कि राजस्थान रोडवेज के इतिहास में आजादी के बाद पहली बार वर्तमान सरकार ने एक ही बार में 900 नई बसें खरीदकर बस संचालन को मजबूत किया। आगे अब 500 नई बसें खरीदने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं, जबकि गत सरकार द्वारा तो राजस्थान रोडवेज को बंद करने की तैयारी की जा चुकी थी।
खाचरियावास ने कहा कि जनकल्याणकारी वर्तमान सरकार ने रोडवेज बसों के किराये में एक भी रूपया नहीं बढ़ाया। साथ ही रोडवेज की बसों में प्रतियोगी परीक्षाएं देने वाले अभ्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क यात्रा कराने का बड़ा फैसला लेकर राहत प्रदान की है। वर्तमान सरकार ने कोरोना काल में पैदल चल रहे हजारों लोगों को रोडवेज की बसों के जरिए घरों तक पहुंचाया।
